First Eagle Composite Squadron AE Day
Place: Morehead, Rowan Co. airport
Date: June
Total Attendance: 10 cadets, 6 SM, 30 general public
I organized and coordinated all aspects of the AE day.  We had real showing s of Remote Control Airplanes, Mini. Hot Air Balloons, Model Rockets, Paper Plate Airplanes, and Real Airplanes.  All of these teaching items were used to show our general public viewers many aspects of Aerospace (how planes fly, how rockets work, what a real airplane cockpits looks like, ETC).  All of the activities were hands on, the public set the rockets off, and were given walkthroughs of the real airplanes, ECT  This was a huge success, we gained 3 recruits and the AE day was publicized on radio and on the newspaper.

Eagle Composite Squadron AEO
I serve as the squadron AEO, I organize and teach ALL of our productive, fun, hands-on classes once (sometimes twice) a month.  I have been the AEO of our squadron for two years.  I also taught all the classes that went toward our squadron wining the Aerospace Education Excellency Award.
