Kentucky Long Rifle Project
Since my days at the Ashland Gun Club on Mead Springer Road when Old John Clark would bring his muzzle load shotgun, I have wanted to own a muzzle load gun.  While in College I read a lot about the Kentucky Long Rifle in the library and decided that some day I would build one.

Years later I bought all the parts to build a Vincent Rifle from Golden Age Arms Company in Ashley, Ohio.  Several times I would visit this store in Ashley with different friends who were also interested in these guns.  One special friend, Bob Kelley and I went to Ashley just before Christmas in about 1990.  When I left Samra had just bought me a great Christmas Present.  It took three years to build the gun but many books, video tapes and tools later I have a great gun. Looks like I will have to build at least two more so all the boys will have one of their own some day.
