As a Christmas gift seth recieved 1 hour of flying time in a WWII T6 Texan trainer with a full areobatic package. On Sunday, May 6 Seth flew the family to the E-Town airport to enjoy his flight. The trip will be one we will long remember.
On the way to E-town small thunderstorms developed throughout central Kentucky. The Louiville controller guided us around them as we watched the lightning and rain on either side. Arriving at E-town everything was fine and Seth enjoyed his hour in the T6 Texan. While watching the video of his areobatics we were notified that the thunderstorms had grown to cover all of central Kentucky and there was not way to get home.
The owners of the T6 offered us a ride to a motel and a return to the airport the next morning. The T6 flight became an adventure for the whole family.
